Healing Animals - Treatments

Healing Animals

What Happens During a Treatment Session?

Healing animals takes place at the owner's home, and last between 45min and 1hour 30min depending on the needs of the individual. The healer will work with the animal within a secure room where they can move around, and the animal's carer should always be present (treatments for horses can be done in the stable or out in the field).

The healer will either have their hands on or off the body, depending on the animal, where they will be able to feel the movement of energy within the energy field, and patterns of restrictions within the body. As the animal's system releases energy blockages and becomes more balanced, you may see your animal looking tired with their eyes half closed, stretching and yawning, and twitching of muscles; these are all signs that the healing is taking effect, and the body is relaxing.

All animals respond positively to healing but some can be a little cautious at first depending on what negative experiences they may have had in their life. It is as important for the animal to feel relaxed as it is for their owner - because it is not uncommon for the owner’s emotional state to affect their pet and vice versa. For this reason healing is given without touching animals; if they want to be touched they will position their body so that it contacts the healer’s hands. It also enables them to be free to move around during the session which is all part of the healing process.

Asentia advises animal owners to seek veterinary advice for any conditions that have not been diagnosed prior to any healing sessions. The Veterinary Act 1966 stipulates that only qualified vets may diagnose and give treatment based on the diagnosis. Asentia aims to complement any veterinary care that is required, and to maintain professionalism we will inform your vet that your animal is receiving healing.

What Does a Treatment Cost?

Healing animals, including distant animal healing, costs £45 for the first consultation which lasts up to 2 hours. This includes a detailed case history (this will be carried out on the phone for distant work) as well as the first treatment. All sessions thereafter cost £35. The healer will come out to your home wherever possible in order to minimise the stress for the animal, and petrol will be charged at 40p per mile.

Please be aware that for cancellations made with less than 24hrs notice you will still be charged the full consultation fee.

For more information about the treatments, or to book a consultation please contact one of the team.
